Swiss Tallow uses a proprietary, multi-stage filtration process that is unique in the industry. The result: A tallow balm, which is odorless, silky soft and free from oxidation.
Most skin care products work against your skin. They cover, seal or irritate with ingredients that your body is not familiar with. Tallow is different: Its fatty acids are so similar to the lipids in your own skin that they are absorbed immediately. No foreign ingredients, no barrier.
But Tallow is only as good as its origin and production. Insufficiently cleaned sebum oxidizes, smells and can put additional strain on sensitive skin. That's why we developed a process that removes everything that doesn't belong on your skin and preserves everything that nourishes it.
Our customers feel the result from the first application: care that feels like nothing and works like everything.

Beef tallow mainly contains saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids such as stearic, palmitic and oleic acid. If the sebum is not thoroughly treated to remove free fatty acids and tissue residues, a so-called lipid oxidation begins while in contact with oxygen/air.
This produces peroxides, aldehydes and short-chain fatty acids - recognizable by the typical rancid smell. These oxidation products can irritate the skin, release free radicals and weaken the skin's natural barrier instead of strengthening it. Oxidized sebum can worsen existing symptoms, especially for sensitive skin that is prone to neurodermatitis or rosacea.
This means: The quality of the filtration is not a comfort feature, but a health-relevant factor.
Do you have a Tallow product at home that looks yellow? Rub a small amount on the back of your hand and smell it. A rancid, slightly animal smell is a clear sign of inadequate filtration and advanced oxidation.
High-quality, professionally filtered beef tallow, on the other hand, is white, odor-free and feels silky - not greasy or waxy.
We have developed an in-house cleaning and filtration process over many months that goes far beyond what is common in the industry. Using professional laboratory and food equipment, we remove tissue residues, free fatty acids and potential contaminants in several successive steps - without destroying the natural nutrients in the tallow.
The result: a highly pure, snow-white filtered tallow that preserves natural vitamins A, D, E and K in high concentrations.

Quality starts with the raw material. Our beef tallow comes exclusively from pastured cattle from the Swiss Alps, which graze on fresh mountain meadows and live under natural conditions. The nutrient-rich Alpine pasture farming ensures raw material with a particularly fine fat structure and high vitamin content.
We source the fat directly from local farmers who rely on species-appropriate husbandry and natural feeding without genetically modified additives. You can find out how Swiss cattle farming compares to the EU and why it even exceeds EU organic standards on our website origin & animal welfare.

Every step of our production – from the selection of raw materials to filtration and bottling – takes place in Switzerland under strictly controlled conditions. We work according to the highest Swiss hygiene and quality guidelines and ensure complete traceability of all raw materials.
No outsourcing, no hidden additions. A care product you can trust.
