Application on the face
A pea-sized amount is sufficient for the entire face. Apply a thin, even layer. A slight sheen after application is normal and indicates active protection.
Face & Neck
Two pea-sized amounts for the face and neck combined. Apply to the face first, then the neck—spreading a thin layer each time. Apply less than you think.
Why less is more
Tallow SUN contains non-nano zinc oxide, which physically reflects UV rays on the skin. A fine, silky sheen after application is normal—it indicates that the protection is active and largely disappears after 1–2 minutes. If a distinct white film forms, you’ve applied too much. Simply rub it in with your fingertips or use a little less next time.
Reapplying
Reapply a thin layer after 2–3 hours in the sun or after sweating. The same rule applies here: use a pea-sized amount and spread it thinly.
Under Makeup
Tallow SUN works well as a base under makeup. Let it absorb for 2–3 minutes before applying foundation.
Combining with Tallow Balm
Use Tallow Balm as a night treatment in the evening, and Tallow SUN as protection and day treatment in the morning. These two products complement each other—do not apply them at the same time.
Note
Tallow SUN is highly concentrated and water-free. It is used much more sparingly than conventional sunscreen. One jar lasts for about 6–8 weeks with daily use on the face.
